Reception have been learning about the English celebration of Remembrance Day.
They found out that many brave soldiers lost their lives fighting to protect our country.
 

The children walked to the cenotaph to remember those who have served and sacrificed for our country. They all took part in a minute’s silence and laid their poppy wreaths to show our respect and gratitude. The children behaved with great maturity and reflected thoughtfully on the importance of remembrance.
