This week, we have been learning all about the celebration of Harvest Festival.

We discovered that different countries grow different foods, and people around the world celebrate harvest time in a variety of ways. For example: In England, we celebrate Harvest Festival / In America, it’s called Thanksgiving / In India, people celebrate Pongal / and in West Africa, there’s the Yam Festival.

We explored a variety of vegetables and developed our cutting skills by carefully chopping them up. The vegetables were then used to make a healthy vegetable soup, which we enjoyed tasting together!
