This week we focused on aircraft and explored how they help us travel to different places. We learned that people could not always fly and discovered that the Wright brothers invented the first aeroplane, enabling people to travel through the sky. The children created and tested their own air transport models and artwork, investigating how different vehicles move and how they help us reach our destinations. We discussed how aeroplanes can take us to different countries, such as Canada and Zimbabwe, while cars, trains and trams cannot travel across oceans.
