Reception have been planting sunflower seeds! 🌻

They talked about what plants need to grow and discovered that they need water, sunlight, and lots of care. The children enjoyed filling their pots with soil and carefully planting their seeds.

Over the next few weeks, they will be looking after our plants and watching closely to see how they grow. We hope they grow nice and tall! 🌱☀️

They also wrote instructions explaining how to plant and care for sunflowers, along with information about the botanist Joseph Banks.
