Today, the children stepped into the world of volcanoes through an exciting VR headset experience! 

We used this immersive experience to think carefully about verbs and feelings linked to volcanoes. The children came up with as many vivid and powerful words as they could, thinking about how a volcano might move, sound and make us feel.

We then developed our ideas into a rich word bank, which the children will use to support their upcoming poetry writing.
