Buses
This week, we explored our enquiry question by learning all about buses! The children discovered that buses help us travel to places like shops, parks, and schools. They learned that to go on a bus, we need to pay the driver and get a ticket, and enjoyed role play using real coins. We went on a pretend bus journey, watched a video, and talked about the parts of a bus such as wheels, doors, seats, and the driver. The children used new words like ticket, driver, stop, journey, and passengers, moved like buses, sang “Wheels on the Bus,” and played instruments to make loud and quiet sounds. To finish the week, they painted bright, colourful buses, looking carefully at shapes and details.
