In our Design and Technology learning this week, the children explored harvesting and seasonal foods. We used this knowledge to compare a Stone Age diet with a modern‑day diet. To help us understand how food is prepared after harvesting, we made a vegetable stew. The children worked safely and sensibly while preparing the vegetables, and they really enjoyed tasting the stew at the end of the day!
