In Understanding the World (History), we explored the year we were born and discovered that everyone has a different birthday. We learnt about the human lifecycle and discussed the different stages people go through as they grow and change. The children enjoyed looking at their baby photographs and talking about how they have changed over time, noticing differences in their appearance and what they can do now. We then created our own lifecycle using photographs, helping us to understand the concept of growth and change.
