Spring Term - Trip to Skegness
As part of our enquiry learning, Reception took a trip to Skegness. After learning about Jacques Cousteau and how he helped them to see the beauty of the ocean, they spent the morning at Natureland Seal Sanctuary. They found out how they help and rescue seals from the beach. They also presented some of their work, to showcase their learning, and it is now on display in the gift shop for everyone to see.
During the afternoon, they went to visit the beach and paddled in the sea.
Then to finish off the day, they visited RNLI Skegness after learning about Grace Darling and how she helped rescue people in the past. They found out how the RNLI helps others too.
