Y2 Victorian Day

On Thursday 9th January, Year 2 had a special visitor who joined us in Owls. Our visitor introduced and taught us all about the Victorians because this is our new topic that we are learning. We had chance to be detectives and find out what the different Victorian artefacts were used for, we had chance to learn a Victorian Polka dance, dress up as poor and rich Victorians and we even had a craft session! One of the most amazing things we found out was how much food rich Victorians ate throughout the day! Have a look at the transformations that some of the children went through. Can you recognise them?
