Reception's Art Inspired by David Hockney

After exploring David Hockney's vibrant piece The Arrival of Spring, Reception embarked on their own artistic journey. The children began by painting soft washes for the background, mirroring Hockney's technique of capturing the essence of spring through colour and form. Then they added detailed drawings on top, creating their own versions of this beautiful artwork.
